Optimizing your blog for Twitter always has its benefits, if you have wordpress blog then it can’t be more easy. Most these Twitter plugins will help you gain followers and exposure to your Twitter profile. To promote your blog on Twitter your main goal should be to brand your blog on Twitter, increase the number of followers and increase the number of retweets.

So as you see this is one of my favorite Twitter plugins, but it has only one disadvantage that is it takes a lot of load time.

This is a plugin from backtype and it is pretty similar Tweetbacks, but this plugin has an awesome interface, attractive looks, easily customizable and also helps in attracting retweets. This plugin really helps in attracting user attention and the person who retweets also gets some exposure.

They also have an HTML version of the plugin which can be used for non – wordpress sites, though the plugin uses heavy flash it has no effect on your load time.
