What I'd do with a $1000 in extra cash?

One thousand American dollars would approximately convert to 40,000 Indian Rupees, it is a hell lot of money, but it certainly isn’t something I can’t manage to raise, but of course I need to give up my passive income attitude and work my ass of for a few days, its very difficult, especially for me but I know that it truly isn’t impossible. From the past three months I’ve got a lot of offers for social media, SEO and writing services which required spend hours together each day, which I couldn’t firstly because I didn’t like working for others and secondly my school and education didn’t permit the amount of time, but if I could have managed it I would surely have earn a 1000 bucks, and I bet all of you too can achieve this, but with a bit of sacrifice.

One of the most efficient and easiest ways for me would be to sell this blog, though its new and not very popular I’m sure it’ll earn me thousand bucks. As I mentioned above its possible by each and everyone of us, you may take a small credit from a friend, use your credit card, sell a few of your valuables on Ebay or simply sell your notebook, this is hard I know, they have to be thats why I call this the first sacrifice, and sacrifice usually equals success.

Most people are afraid to make these initial sacrifices due to the cases where people loose everything either due to lack of planning or due to bad luck. But if you invest this money with a proper plan and execute it accordingly your sure to achieve success with it, whereas luck is concerned, successful are those who believe in themselves rather than their luck. This post is basically on internet marketing as thats my niche and thats where my 1000 dollars will go, so its basically about educating people about various internet business opportunities and how innovation and creativity can turn your life around.

Creating and selling a digital information product

A digital information product is anything which ranges from ebooks, e-courses, reports and newsletters anything which you can download from the net. This is the niche which is already in boom and is set to take a blast in coming years. Basically it depends on the type of product, its niche, pricing and most importantly the quality, but however even the best quality products in the world don’t stand a chance if you don’t invest a few bucks in advertising and marketing.

If your planning to rely on just quality and word of mouth of marketing then you’ll have to be ready to wait for atleast 3 years for your product to get popular. If you have heard about George Brown you’ll also hear about the enormous success he had with his small information products, he too for a furniture mover, but he managed to raise a few bucks risking debt, but soon he was rich enough to fund a hundred people like him. I’m not the one who believes in pure philosophies, so I’ll provide you with my practical plan for launching this business.

Firstly I’ll buy hosting and domain for my product and buy expensive landing page themes and e-commerce plugins, and make sure that its got the capacity to turn the traffic into money. After this I’ll sign up for a merchant account with Clickbank which will cost about $47 and arrange banners and all requirements for affiliates. Later on I’ll spend a few bucks to launch my own advertising campaign and thats when my listing will come up on ClickBank. So the main purpose of the advertising campaign is to recruit affiliates and once I do so the promotion goes on by itself and starts generating passive income.

Super affiliate marketing

I’ve been doing affiliate marketing from the beginning of my online career, but I always used the free methods which resulted in very few sales, but when I get a few bucks to invest I’ll surely launch a full fledge campaign on all known networks for promoting affiliate offers. This sure to bring in a huge profit over investment and the best part is I make all of these without investing any time creating a product, which itself is expensive at times.

The most basic part of my plan is to search for the best products, the quality, the landing page, popularity and pricing, after choosing a product while taking everything into concern, I’ll start a campaign on Adwords, Facebook and all other major networks, either with my own money or with the help of coupons. I’ll target them well and price them according to the profitability of the product, so I’m sure to make more than I invest.

Design premium products – Themes, softwares and apps

More than the information products I listed above more money lies in products like themes, softwares and apps (Iphone, Anderoid). The principle for both are the same, it takes money initially to promote the product and later on the affiliates take over the promotion part. The problem here is that creating such products take a hell lot of technical skills, and an information product requires just writing skills which most of us will have or can learn. If your planning to outsource it be very careful because half of your thousand dollars will go there, moreover you’ll need a hell lot for the promotion work.

If you can develop on your own this venture will work like a charm for you, orelse you’ll risk loosing your money as for this you can’t compromise on anything, not the development and definitely not the marketing part. I have a sort of different plan for this, the promotional idea will be the same as the Information product, but for the development I’ll offer a share to a freelance developer for his work telling him that I’ll be doing the entire investment and marketing.

Reseller hosting services

Almost every small business today has started to start, run and manage its own website and for this to be possible they require cheap source of hosting. The web hosting industry grew rapidly since the beginning of the 21st Century, though the profitability of the smaller ones are threatened due to the fall in prices. Anyone can easily start an hosting service as most big firms these days do provide reseller hosting at low prices. You won’t really need a thousand dollars, but it takes time for your business to make a profit atleast 3 months, so until then you need to keep it going by paying up all your expenses.

Firstly I’ll get everything ready from my side that is a catchy site, billing system etc. Then I’ll buy the reseller plan from Hostgator and put up everything from Cpanel to PHPMyadmin. Now for the marketing it would surely be useless to go for advertising, so I would inform all of my community friends to be affiliates and earn commissions and the second thing is that I know a hell lot of freelance developers who do everything from development to hosting, so I’ll start paying them a commission to host their client’s projects on my services. This is sure to bring in 25 to 30 clients which would result in a few hundred bucks each month, but when I start investing money and growing I’ll surely get a lot more.

Buy a few keyword rich domains

I have already into a small time domainer in the past few weeks and that was due to the birth of the .co domains. There are many who have made millions in this industry, and I’m sure most people do have a huge success rate if they plan well and choose the right domains. The industry works like this, a person researches for hot keywords and checks their availability and after he gets it, he either aggregates content for it and drives traffic using his keyword rich domain or maybe he sells the domain for 3 to 4 times the actual cost.

My plan will be sit for hours searching for keyword rich domains which are available and when I get them, I’ll launch my blog on it and I’ll aggregate all the content as I don’t want to waste time on it, I will mostly rank well for that particular keyword so I’ll get good traffic and surely a few bucks from advertising. After a few months I will list it on some directories like Flippa and try my best to sell it for a huge profit, if the domain is really keyword rich I’m sure to get a hell lot of bids and I can charge a lot more because I’m also giving a ready made website.
